Delivery Information

Delivery Summary

• Typical delivery: 1–3 working days from placing your order
• Free delivery: available on all orders
• Core Delivery minimum order: £100
• Extended Delivery minimum order: £250
• All deliveries are kerbside only
• Please ensure there is suitable access for large delivery vehicles
• Do not book installers or tradespeople until your order has been delivered and checked

Delivery Access Requirements

Please use the Order Notes at checkout to tell us if:

• Your property has restricted access, including narrow roads, low bridges, weight restrictions or height restrictions
• You have specific delivery instructions
• You are unavailable on certain delivery dates

Our delivery vehicles can weigh up to 26 tonnes and require suitable access and turning space.

If you are unsure whether our vehicles can access your property, please contact us before placing your order.

Failed deliveries caused by restricted or unsuitable access may incur additional charges.

Delivery Times

Typical delivery time: 1–3 working days from the date your order is placed.

Delivery hours:

• Monday–Friday: 7:30am–4:30pm
• Saturday: 7:00am–12:00pm

Deliveries are completed on scheduled routes. Exact delivery times cannot be guaranteed, but we will provide an estimated window where possible.

During busy periods or where stock is limited, delivery may take slightly longer. If this happens, we will contact you.

After Placing Your Order

• Please provide two contact numbers where possible, including one mobile number
• You will receive confirmation by text or email once your delivery is scheduled
• Our driver may contact you on the day of delivery
• Some orders may be delivered in multiple drops depending on the products ordered

Delivery Changes

Any changes to your delivery must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled delivery.

Changes made after this time may incur additional charges.

Failed Delivery Policy

A failed delivery may occur if:

• No one is available to accept the delivery
• Access restrictions were not disclosed before delivery
• The delivery location is unsafe or unsuitable

A 30% charge may apply for re-delivery or refunds. This covers transport and handling costs incurred.

On the Day of Delivery

• All deliveries are kerbside only
• Drivers are not insured to carry goods into your property
• Deliveries are made to ground level only
• Unloading must take place onto a flat, solid surface
• Steep or unsafe access is not permitted

If a vehicle is allowed onto your property, this is entirely at your own risk. Halcyon Timber accepts no liability for any damage caused.

Some vehicles are not crane-offload equipped. Customers may assist with unloading at their own risk.

All packaging and pallets remain the responsibility of the customer unless agreed otherwise.

Order Amendments

Orders cannot normally be amended once placed.

If changes are required, your order may need to be cancelled and placed again. Additional delivery charges may apply.
